Details: Statistics expert Dr. Mansfield “Chip” Jr. Williams, teaches courses in Data Analysis, Quantitative Analysis and Statistics IRREC. He brings more than 30 years of teaching experience to the UF IRREC. Previously, Dr. Williams was a member of the faculty at the University of Vermont School of Natural Resources, instructing courses in dendrology and taxonomy of trees.

In addition to his academic career, he has for many years performed consultant work for the South Florida Water Management District, working on projects looking at wetland mitigation banks, and the use of economic analysis for rule-making political agencies, or the first step in setting policies. He also performed research at the U.S. Department of Agriculture Northeast Forest Experiment Station in Vermont, exploring acid rain atmospheric deposition on forest ecosystems.
