Details: Educated and farmed in England before 10 years farming in Africa and West Indies with London based Commonwealth Development Corporation. Lecturer in Management in University of Aberdeen for 18 months before arriving in Illinois. Worked with Illinois State Water Survey while completing PhD. Came to UF in 1976. Published over 400 articles on agribusiness, financial analysis, investing and using futures. Taught 18 different classes to over 7,000 students and chaired and committee member for some 275 graduate students. State finance specialist for Florida's Cooperative Extension Service with major commitment to the Farm Service Agency. Provided around 1,000 workshops, seminars and talks both in USA and worldwide. While at UF, worked in Swaziland, Cameroon, Congo, Honduras, Costa Rica, Columbia, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, England, Germany, Netherlands and Canada.
