The Soil and Water Science laboratory at IRREC serves students, faculty, and staff members. The following is an overview of the laboratory. 

Mission

The mission of the Soil and Water Laboratory is to provide scientific research and education in the field of soil and water science - particularly those soil-related problems that are peculiar to the coastal areas and Flatwoods of Florida. The goal is to obtain effective and economically-sound practical solutions to problems of agricultural production and soil and water quality in the Indian River Area.
