Dr. Alan Wright assists citrus and vegetable growers in both the Everglades Agricultural Area, and the Indian River District. His work involves soil nutrient cycling and nutrition for a a number of crops, including:

Objectives
- To develop new and improved crop management strategies for subsiding soils of the Everglades Agricultural Area
- To improve sugarcane and vegetable production systems using updated nutrient management practices
